Creative Complex Takes Logistics to New Roads

Just when we thought our threshold for creativity was close to reaching a dead end, 2015 brought a challenging task. We were approached by Deborah Hernandez, the CEO for Funxion Relocation & Logistics, who asked us if we could create and deliver a full-fledge identity branding for their new company. Normally this would be a typical day at the Creative Complex, but two things made this opportunity interesting: we had never worked with a company that catered to the logistics industry and the full branding services, including a website, logo and visual representation was needed in 10 days.

Ten days!! As it turns out, Funxion Relocation & Logistics wanted wheels spinning fast to capture the “moving season” that was quickly approaching. We discovered this throughout our initial meeting with them. Needless to say, it was a challenging task but we knew that our team could get the job done.

If you didn’t now, Funxion Relocation and Logistics provides interior designers and other professional involved with relocation the complete logistical support they need to reduce stress and grow their business as much as possible – from transportation to storage to staging, and even buying and selling inventory on a client’s behalf.

“When Alex reached out to me about needing help from the Creative Complex, the first thing I did was make a strategy session appointment with him,” said Alex Miranda, Founder of the Creative Complex. “After I gathered all necessary information, it was pressed on my heart that along with web and branding services, Funxion also needed an identity.”

Needless to say, ten days after the first strategy session, Funxion had its identity, logo, website, business cards and all other assets necessary in order to make an impact for the moving season.

Case Study

We met Funxion Relocation & Logistics fourteen days before they needed to launch a full brand.  After 4 days of negotiation, now we had 10 days to come up with an entire brand.

Along with providing Funxion with a logo, a website and branding services, our company was able to create an identity for them. However, the Funxion project was an interesting challenge for us at the Creative Complex.

After studying Funxion and the logistics industry that they are looking to excel in, we believe that they can, and will, become more than just a company that helps store and move furniture for interior designers. We are fully confident that Funxion can one day open up hubs across the globe and position themselves to fully service interior designers and furniture retailers and become a global leader in the furniture logistics industry.

We were honored to turn their dream into a reality.

Opportunity:

FunxionStyleGuide-Slides6Deborah Hernandez, the Chief Operating Officer of Funxion, reached out to our Founder, Alex Miranda, and asked if the Creative Complex can bring their vision, of what Funxion has to offer the interior and furniture design industries, to life through marketing tools such as a logo, website and branding services.

Our Task:

We met with Funxion representatives and were told that this vision they had of a company needed life. They needed someone to take the idea they had in their heart and make it a reality. And they needed it fast. The company needed a logo, website, and branding services within 10 days.  It turns out that Funxion had aspirations of catching the moving season in South Florida.  In essence, our team had less than two weeks to bring Funxion’s idea to life.

Process:

At the end of that session, we were informed that the project needed to be done roughly two weeks from that meeting. While our process normally takes more than two weeks (are you ok with saying it’s normally 45 days?), it was an exciting challenge for our team to deliver creative, efficient and quality driven work. We had all hands on deck for this project and are pleased with the efforts from each member of our team.

Completion:

When the project was done, every aspect of Funxion’s business needs, including a multi-platform identity program, along with various social components were strategically targeted and met. Ultimately, we wanted to make sure that we developed a brand identity that would become immediately recognizable, distinctive and sophisticated thereby positioning the company for success.

Along with those aspects of their business needs, we also created marketing channels for email advertisements, blog posts, business cards, brochures, press releases’ and presentation material.

Results:
