Facebook has redesigned their business pages, and the game changes a little for marketers and designers.

Here are the big changes for direct response marketers using the cover photo to engage your clients with call to action messages

Arrow Pointing to Message

Now you want your fans to message you directly.  Put an arrow pointing to the message.  Make sure you have someone to reply to those messages.

Arrow Pointing to Like Your Page

You can add an arrow pointing down to the “LIKE” button to remind people to follow you.

Solid Color on Bottom of Cover Image

Since the new Facebook design automatically adds your business name and services in white, you will need to put a solid color on the bottom of the design to bring attention to it.

Apps Can Be Customized, But Are More Hidden

The Apps are now hidden down below on the right column.  There used to be a lot of attention to those apps, but now they aren’t as visible.  You can still customize those, but it’s not as relevant anymore.
