Just when we thought our threshold for creativity was close to reaching its ceiling, the first quarter of 2015 brought a challenging task. We were approached by Alex Marquez, the Chief Operating Officer for Kaizen Turbines, who asked us if we could create, draw up and deliver a full-fledge marketing campaign for his company. Normally this would be a typical day at the Creative Complex, but two things made this opportunity interesting: we had never worked with a company that catered to the aviation industry and the full branding services, including a website, logo and visual representation was needed in two weeks.
Two weeks! As it turns out, Kaizen Turbines wanted to introduce themselves to industry leaders at the MRO Americas 2015 Conference in Miami on April 13th. We discovered this throughout our initial meeting with them at the end of March. Needless to say, it was a challenging task but we knew that our team could get the job done.
“The team at the Creative Complex amazed us by how quick they were able to deliver,” said Alex Marquez, Chief Operating Officer for Kaizen Turbines. “In such a crucial situation where we had a small window of opportunity to work with, the Creative Complex put forth efficient, accurate and quality work. I heard about Alex and what his team could do, but now I’ve witnessed it.”
If you didn’t now, Kaizen Turbines is a company that is making its name in the aviation industry through aircraft engine disassembly. They teardown airplane engines, expand engine cycles and distribute necessary parts to private and commercial clients. This type of business is so unique that it was very different from the type of clients we have serviced in the past. For Kaizen, we didn’t want to just provide visual representation, but our goal was to also help them establish their identity in the aerospace industry. After calibrating with its management team, it was imperative that our full-package branding services promote longevity, trust and cutting edge representation.
“When Alex reached out to me about needing help from the Creative Complex, the first thing I did was make a strategy session appointment with him,” said Alex Miranda, Founder of the Creative Complex. “After I gathered all necessary information, it was pressed on my heart that along with web and branding services, Kaizen Turbines also needed an identity.”
Needless to say, two weeks after the first strategy session, Kaizen Turbines had its identity, logo, website, business cards and all other assets necessary in order to make an impact at the 2015 MRO Americas Conference.
